Michelle Obama was a co-host on "The View" and it is here that the Obama fist bump has become so popular.

If you have not seen it yet, well here it is:

Now, it's getting harder to turn on the TV or read a news story without seeing the dreaded fist bump.

On CNN's Political Ticker, another fist bump made the news between Sen. Dianne Feinstein, California Democrat, and Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, Texas Republican as they ended their conversation on CNN's Late Edition with a fist bump.

And now, t-shirts are popping up on Cafepress celebrating the new handshake.

One artist has even renamed the "fist bump". She is now calling it the "Barack Obumpa".

The history of the fist bump only reveals, that no one really knows when exactly it got started.

Time Magazine, however, took the time to do a full article about it so you would know that they tried to get the story for you.  The feautured photo even shows Barack and Michelle fist bumping together.

But in our opinion, Michele just won a lot of brownie points for her hubby, Barack Obama by starting a new fun political trend that is spreading by leaps and bounds.

Seems Cindy McCain better get busy developing some trendy handshake soon for dear old John, or we will all be Obumpin' to the White house.
