Are Madonna's not so attractive veiny arms becoming a trend? One would think so after seeing pics of a London Socialite recently. Tara Palmer-Tomkinson was seen recently as a photo exhibition in London, yet her photos attracted all of the attention.



One quick look at Madonna's arms and you see the same unattractive physique. What use to be soft and womanly, is now full of muscle and visible veins.

Veins become visible as body fat is stripped away, indicating a lack of nutrition. Harley Street surgeon Apostolos Gaitanis said: "She may be genetically prone to having large veins, but this appears to be due to over-training. There is no fat to disguise them."

Unfortunately, this trend is not a very attractive one, nor is it one that anyone should follow. Let's just hope it fades from popularity sooner rather than later.

We much prefer the Material Girl to the Vascular Girl. At least the music is still good.
